Christ is Waiting for You.

It is our dream to make the Divine Mercy Chapel, the first perpetual adoration chapel in Manhattan, a reality. We need your help: we must raise the money to build the chapel. We ask for you to be our partner in creating this chapel.

 

We are seeking to raise the necessary funds to cover the total cost of this project. We want Manhattan to have a world class perpetual adoration chapel – a chapel of beauty that helps lead people’s minds to God. Please pray about helping us reach that goal!

 

St. Thomas Aquinas discussed a virtue we don’t hear of often today: magnanimity. It’s the virtue of taking part in great deeds. You can take part in making something great for our city and Archdiocese. Please pray about how God is calling you to be a part of this dream.

 

Some ask whether in these difficult times we should be building a chapel. Yes! Now more than ever we need God’s help– our country and city cannot heal or thrive without God’s mercy, and thus now is the time to bring God’s mercy more directly into people’s lives. Amidst the noise and confusion of today we need a place dedicated to prayer, silence, and beauty. A place where we can again hear God’s voice and encounter His mercy. This chapel is meant to be that place.

 

Also, please stay in touch. When the chapel is built we’ll need people to fill the adoration times. We would love to have you join us in adoring Christ in the Eucharist!
